Today I recovered a RS41 radiosonde from Vienna in Aspersdorf near Hollabrunn which was still transmitting. Luckily, most of the wheat fields are already mowed at this time of the year, so I immediately saw the sonde when reaching the landing site. Furthermore, collecting the whole yarn between the radiosonde and the parachute was easy since the yarn was not twisted in plants. Moreover, it seemed like the parachute did not open because balloon scraps were twisted into the parachute lines. In addition, the last received package on radiosondy.info was nearly identical with the final landing spot (received 70m over ground). Very good tracker OE3JTB!
